Mode of action:
Emamectin benzoate enhances the action of neurotransmitters such as glutamate and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), thereby causing a large amount of chloridions to enter nerve cells, causing loss of cell function, disturbing nerve conduction, and larvae stop eating immediately after contact, causing irreversible paralysis. Reach the highest death rate within 3-4 days.
Characteristics:
1. The activity increases with the increase of temperature. When the temperature reaches 25 °C, the insecticidal activity can be increased by 1000 times.
2. After spraying on the foliar surface, it decomposes quickly under the action of strong ultraviolet rays.
3. Selectivity is very strong, the insecticidal activity against lepidopteran pests is extremely high, but the insecticidal activity against other pests is relatively low.
Target pests:
Emamectin is much higher efficient against many pests for pests than other pesticides, especially for Lepidoptera. For example, red-striped moth, cotton bollworm, tobacco hawk moth, diamondback moth, beet armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda, Spodoptera litura , Cabbage butterfly, Tomato hawk moth, Potato beetle, Mexican ladybug, etc.
Usage:
Emamectin is highly active against larvae of Lepidoptera and many other pests. It has both stomach toxicity and contact killing effect, and it does not harm beneficial insects in the process of controlling pests.
Difference between abamectin and emamectin in application:
The insecticidal spectrum of both is similar, but the insecticidal activity of emamectin is higher than the abamectin; Both insecticidal activities increase with increasing temperature, but the growing rate is different;
At 16°C, the same content of emamctin is 2-3 times than abamectin
16 °C-22°C, the activities of both is equivalent.
Above 25°C, the activity of emamectin increased by more than 1000 times which is much higher than abamectin. Therefore, it is right option to use emamectin product in high temperature.
In addition, emamectin with high activity produces pest resistance faster than aba.
Excellent mix applications:
Killing both insects and eggs
1. 5% emamectin 3000 times + 5% hexaflumuron 1000 times. with strong contact, stomach toxicity, anti-feeding, fumigation, systemic action, killing both insect and eggs up to 95%.
2. 2% emamectin 3000 times + 20% methoxyfenozide 1000 times. Methoxyhydrazide is mainly effective by stomach toxicity, but also has ovicidal activity. It is highly effective, broad-spectrum, safe and long-lasting against Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and Homoptera pests. Special effects on Chilo suppressalis, Spodoptera litura, and Spodoptera exigua.
